Black walnut is an incredibly beautiful material, and we feel steaming walnut does it a disservice to that beauty. Our walnut is an unsteamed material graded on an oak grade rule, which means less sap and imperfections than most available walnut. 
 
SHIPPING:
Shipping is not charged on checkout but is invoiced separately after your order is packed and labeled. Shipping costs can be as much as $1.50 per pound of material depending on where its going. Most pine and medium soft woods average 3lbs per board foot. If your order is over 50' board feet we will reach out to discuss shipping freight on a pallet to your door. When Ordering The quantity is by the Board Foot. A bdft is 144 cubic inches so to calculate you would take the width x length x thickness divided by 144. For example, a 4/4 x6"x8' would be 1"x6"x96"/144=4bdft
