Thanks to the work of Christopher Schwarz, these timeless benches are not just back in our focal awareness, but also Chris's book and plans walk through building and using them in a modern handtool shop. These material packs include a 3" thick edge-glued 8/4 top that is 12"x60" trimmed to exact size, milled and sanded dead flat on both faces. It also includes 4 legs 1-3/4" square and 20" long in the same wood.
The top face and edges of the tops are free of defects and will vary in color from white sap wood to brown heartwood. The underside may have knots or voids that do not compromise the integrity of the top.
The end grain is sealed with a light coat of Anchor Seal, and they are packed in 1/4" cardboard with double-thickness edge protectors and heavy straps for shipping
