Quarter Sawn White Pine is perfect for making small boxes. It has the least seasonal movement of any North American species and is a joy to work with hand tools.
 
This Material box is 12-15 board feet of kiln-dried, clear quarter-sawn white pine that is milled smooth on both faces. The widths of the pieces range from 4-12" wide and thickness is 1-1/8" thick.
Each box has 5 layers of 10"-30" long pieces.  
 
The box is 30"x20"x6" and weighs 39-45lbs
