American Sycamore provides some of the best ray fleck figure in North American hardwoods. Sporting a cream white sapwood and salmon colored heartwood it has wonderful chatoyance.
Our material is a kiln-dried rough-sawn 4/4 (1") thick material. Widths will range 5"-9" wide and is an 80% clear material with virtually no defect.
All of our inventory is 10' in length and is sold by the board foot. All orders will be crosscut into 4' or shorter pieces for shipping. If specific lengths yield better please specify in the order notes. If longer pieces are needed a custom quote will be required and you can submit that request HERE
When Ordering The quantity is by the Board Foot. A bdft is 144 cubic inches so to calculate you would take the width x length x thickness divided by 144. For example, a 4/4 x6"x8' would be 1"x6"x96"/144=4bdft
