Hard maple is perfect for drawer runners and structurally heavy wear parts in furniture. We quarter saw it to make it super stable for things like the runners on your Dutch Tool chest or the drawer slides in your side table or highboy. In 5/4 it will yield 1-1/8' thick or can be resawn for 1/2" parts.

Shipping is not charged on checkout but is invoiced separately after your order is packed and labeled. Shipping costs can be as much as $1.50 per pound of material depending on where its going. Most pine and medium soft woods average 3lbs per board foot. If your order is over 50' board feet we will reach out to discuss shipping freight on a pallet to your door. When Ordering The quantity is by the Board Foot. A bdft is 144 cubic inches so to calculate you would take the width x length x thickness divided by 144. For example, a 4/4 x6"x8' would be 1"x6"x96"/144=4bdft
