The Hearth Stool was designed by Shea Alexander as an introduction to chair-making processes. This comfortable 3-leg stool uses all the techniques used in building a Windsor or stick chair in a much smaller and easy-to-understand project. Shea has also been writing a blog series on building this stool with in-depth information on the paid version of his blog, Amidst the Shavings.
