Curly maple is often thought of as all white in color, however, that is just the sap wood. Our brown curly maple has exceptional curl and in a 5/4 is great to resaw for thinner parts or still yeild 1" thick for small table tops.

When Ordering The quantity is by the Board Foot. A bdft is 144 cubic inches so to calculate you would take the width x length x thickness divided by 144. For example, a 4/4 x6"x8' would be 1"x6"x96"/144=4bdft
